World Wildlife Day
Film Showcase
Inspiring personal responsibility and stewardship for endangered creatures through a film festival showcase across the world.
In 2015, we hosted the International Elephant Film Festival, which has reached over 8,000 people in 70+ countries. Building off of this success, we hosted the International Big Cats Film Festival in 2018 and the World Wildlife Day Film Showcase: Living Oceans in 2019, Biodiversity in 2020 and Forests in 2021 and Digital Innovation in 2023. World Wildlife Day 2024 explores digital innovation and seeks to highlight how digital technologies and services can drive wildlife conservation and human-wildlife coexistence now and for future generations in an increasingly connected world. Films selected for the World Wildlife Day Film Showcase are available throughout 2024 in free educational screenings. Selected films were announced on March 4th at the World Wildlife Day Celebration in NYC.
